Erasmus+ excursion to Germany 2025
Between 27th April and 2nd May, a group of students from our school took part in an educational excursion to Germany as part of the Erasmus+ programme. Accompanied by our teachers, we visited the cities of Munich, Münster, and Emsdetten, in which our partner school is located.
The goal of the trip was to deepen our knowledge of the German language, learn about the German school system, strengthen international friendships, and exchange ideas related to sustainable development and Erasmus+ projects.
In Munich, we explored the historical city centre and got our first impression of German urban culture. In Münster and Emsdetten, we worked with students from our partner school, attended some different workshops which had been specially organised for our group, and took part in a range of activities focused on sustainability. One of the highlights was planting trees in a local orchard as a symbol of environmental responsibility. We also visited the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site and a large exhibition at the Gasometer in Oberhausen.
The trip was educational and fun. It gave us a great opportunity to experience life and culture in Germany while also gaining valuable practice of speaking German. We returned home with new knowledge, great memories, and a stronger sense of European identity.
