Erasmus+ school visit – Sweden 2025
During the third week of October, our school played host to a delegation from our Erasmus+ partner school in Stockholm, Blackebergs gymnasium.
Work had been going on behind the scenes to make this visit a success. The purpose was to work on a project based on environmental issues.
The main introduction for our guests was a presentation given by members of our school’s promotions group. Here they learned about what school is like in Slovenia as well as some general things about our country such as traditional foods. There was a chance for a bit of a discussion as well in which students from both schools gave their opinions about issues of daily life as a student including dealing with timetables, the food available in schools, and how different interests and passions can be encouraged within the education system.
The following days were spent with a mixture of project elements at our school and at different locations around Slovenia. This allowed the group to take part in different workshops and to visit places linked in different ways to the ecological theme.
With the students happy with how their projects worked out and the mentors for both schools delighted with the level of shared development, we are more than able to put this down as another success for our international cooperation.
We very much look forward to seeing how these ideas continue to evolve within both our schools in the time ahead.
