Erasmus+ school visit – Croatia 2026

During the first week of March 2026, Gimnazija Vič hosted a group of students and teachers from Gimnazija Dubrovnik in Croatia. This was the first part of the “ZELEN uTRIP” project which is organised through the Eco-creative group of the Erasmus+ programme at our school.

Monday was dedicated to getting to know each other along with learning about our school, Ljubljana, and Slovenia in general. On Tuesday, they spent time in Celje and Rogla. Our next day was a project day which involved baking, learning about herbs, and spending time taking care of our school garden. Thursday was an excursion with Gimnazija Lava from Celje. We visited the Sežana Botanical Garden, the Škocjan Caves and Lake Cerknica. On Friday morning, we had a closing ceremony to celebrate our days together in Ljubljana. Our guests were given pendants that we had made during our project classes.

We are already looking forward to May when we will get the chance to visit our new friends.
