Video competition: “Keep it Cool”
In October, 4th year students Žan Rutar and Matej Mivšek participated in the “Keep it Cool” film competition.
The competition was organized by the British Embassy in cooperation with the British Council, WWF and RTV Slovenia. The purpose of the project was to encourage young people to think about climate change and to present their ideas at the Glasgow Climate Conference (COP26).
The idea behind our film was to present the beauty of the Ljubljana Marshes and the secrets held by this special land, thus making people aware of what we can lose if we do not take any action against climate change.
The winners were announced at a special ceremony held in one of Ljubljana’s most popular cinemas and our group was very happy to be awarded first prize. It was also great for us to have our work seen and complimented by so many people.
