Holiday concert 2024
On 10th December, student musicians under the mentorship of Marija Mihevc, our school’s music teacher, presented a concert of music and songs designed to get us all ready for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
With a range of music from across the eras and performances from our school choir as well as several soloists and bands, there was something for everyone in the audience who wanted to mark this special time of year.
We were also delighted to welcome back a former student, Rebeka Dobravec, who showed her talent as an international student of music by taking up the baton as conductor for our school’s orchestra.
After the concert, the audience was invited to spend time browsing our festive marketplace at which holiday gifts such as baked goods, hand-made cards, and other artistic creations were available.
The entire event was a great success and we would like to congratulate everyone involved in the planning, preparation, and performances.
