Musicals@Vič 2023
A spectacular experience for both the performers and the audience, the annual Musicals@Vič concert was held at our school on 1st and 2nd February 2023.
This concert is one of the few projects that is devised and executed in its entirety by students. Without any help from the teachers at our school, the choreography and vocal training, set design, lighting and sound, instrumentation, and costumes are all taken care of by a group of dedicated students. This year, the main coordinators were Maša Bratkovič, Brina Zadravec, Bina Verbič Šalamon, Vito Pančur, and Rok Sušnik.
Following the auditions that were held at the beginning of the school year, students from all four years rehearsed exhaustively to put on a stunning show. The concert featured music from Broadway and West End staples, such as The Phantom of the Opera and Chicago, and modern big-screen classics, such as The Greatest Showman and Aladdin. With jaw-dropping choreography and costumes and amazing vocal talent, the concert garnered thunderous applause on both nights and was an enormous success.
During the concerts, Martin Konič, our talented student photographer, was there to capture moments of the event and we are delighted to be able to share these photographs as we look back on such a successful project.
